Seton Hall Prep is New Jersey’s oldest Catholic college preparatory school. The Prep's tradition is matched by its commitment to the education of young men by teaching them to think critically, communicate effectively and become contributing members of society.
At Seton Hall Prep, students participate in many of the amazing offerings available to them outside of the classroom. This includes 15 sports, more than 70 activities and clubs, a variety of intramurals and a seemingly endless number of service projects.
“To equip the holy ones for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the extent of the full stature of Christ.”
At The Prep's Spring Concert on May 22, longtime Music Director capped his 43-year career with his final concert, leading the Band in the group's wide-ranging program of pop and classical music.
The Band kicked off the evening's entertainment with pieces by composers ranging from Thomas Tallis to Queen. The group was followed by The C-Tonians, directed by Theresa Neglia, and then by the Jazz Band, which featured a number of well-received solos offered by senior members of the Band. • Although retiring from the classroom and the podium, Mr. Neglia will continue to direct the Spring Musical. And while his exhuberance and expertise will surely be missed on a daily basis, he is passing his baton to another member of the Neglia family, son Michael, currently Music Director at Aquinas Academy in Livingston, who will bring his own experience acquired at the Mason Gross School of the Arts and the Juilliard School to The Prep beginining in September.
